👛 How to add donations to your event

Especially if your organisation is a non-profit (NFP), donations are crucial for supporting your mission and making a meaningful impact. With Tixtree, you can easily add a donation box to your checkout process, allowing your supporters to contribute effortlessly as they complete their purchase. This feature helps keeping your cause front and center.

Donations can be added to the basket without requiring a ticket purchase, allowing you to receive support from those who can’t attend your event.

Setup

Step 1

Navigate to your event overview.

Step 2

Click “Donations” in the sidebar.

Step 3

Add a title and optionally a description. 

Step 4

Optionally suggest one or more donation amounts.

If no amounts are suggested, a free input box will be provided, allowing your supporters to enter any amount they wish to donate.

If one or more amounts are suggested, a "custom amount" option will be appended to the list of suggested amounts allowing your supporters to enter any amount they wish to donate.
