↩️ How to enable self-refunds in the self-service area
After placing an order, customers can easily manage it through their self-service area.
If you have a refund policy in place, you can create one or more specific rules to streamline the process. This enables your customers to take control and handle their refunds on their own through the self-service area, ensuring a smoother and more efficient experience for both you and them.
How to
Step 1
Go to your event overview.
If you intend to use the same refund policy across all your events, it’s a good idea to configure it at the global level. This ensures that your refund policy is automatically applied to every event you create, saving you time and maintaining consistency across your events.
Step 2
Expand the "Advanced" accordion, then select "Refund Policy".
Step 3
Describe your refund policy so that it will show up in your event page.
Step 4
Add one or more refund rules to define the conditions for self-refunds. Once you've finished setting up the rules, click "Save" to apply them.
The result
Both the refund policy description and the rules will be displayed at the bottom of your event page, ensuring that your customers are well-informed about the refund process and any applicable conditions.
Your customers will be able to process the refund via the self-service area if the order meets the rules you have set, providing a convenient and efficient way for them to manage their refunds.
