➡️ How to transfer an order to a different occurrence
In event planning and ticket management, it's not uncommon for attendees to request a change in their selected date or time slot. Whether it's due to a scheduling conflict or a sudden change in plans, customers often need flexibility when it comes to attending events. For example, an attendee may have purchased tickets for a concert, only to realize they have a prior engagement on the same day. Similarly, another attendee might prefer a less crowded time slot for a conference or festival due to personal comfort or travel constraints.
In this guide, we'll walk you through how to easily transfer an order to a different occurrence of your recurring event, ensuring a smooth experience for both you and your attendees.
Key considerations
-
An order must be transferred in full; partial transfers are not allowed.
-
All line items within the order, including discounts and donations, will be transferred together.
-
An order cannot be transferred if the new date or time slot lacks sufficient capacity for all ticket types and add-ons.
