๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ United States of America

IRS 501(c)(3) Status

Charity

In the United States, charities are typically recognised as 501(c)(3) organisations by the IRS. This designation is given to organisations that operate exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, scientific, or literary purposes and that meet certain requirements set by the IRS. If your organisation is a 501(c)(3) and it's determined as "public charity", it qualifies for the discount.

NFP

If your organisation is registered under another section of the IRS code (such as 501(c)(4) or 501(c)(6)), it is a not-for-profit but not a charity. These organisations include social welfare groups, trade associations, and other NFPs that do not have the same tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3). Therefore, they are not eligible for the discount.

๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Canada

CRA Registered Charity Status

Charity

In Canada, a charity is an organisation that has been registered with theย Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as a Registered Charity under the Income Tax Act. These organisations must operate exclusively for charitable purposes and meet specific requirements set by the CRA. If your organisation has a registration number issued by the CRA and appears on the CRAโ€™s list of Registered Charities, it qualifies as a charity and is eligible for our discounted plan.

NFP

If your organisation is incorporated as a not-for-profit under federal or provincial laws but has not been registered with the CRA as a charity, it is considered a regular not-for-profit organisation. These organisations are not eligible for the discount.

๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง United Kingdom

CC Registered Charity Status

Charity

In the UK, a charity is an organisation that is registered with theย Charity Commission for England and Wales, OSCR in Scotland, or the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. These organisations must meet strict legal requirements and operate for charitable purposes only. If your organisation is listed on the relevant charity register, it is considered a charity and qualifies for our discounted plan.

NFP

If your organisation is a not-for-profit but is not registered with one of these charity regulators, it does not qualify as a charity. Examples include community interest companies (CICs) and other social enterprises that are not recognised as charities. These organisations are not eligible for the discount.

๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡บ Australia

ACNC Status

Charity

In Australia, a charity is an organisation that is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Charities must meet specific criteria, including being established for charitable purposes and operating for the public benefit. If your organisation is listed on the ACNC register and meets these requirements, it qualifies as a charity and is eligible for our discounted plan.

NFP

If your organisation is a not-for-profit but is not registered with the ACNC as a charity, it does not qualify as a charity under Australian law. This includes various not-for-profit entities that may not meet the ACNCโ€™s criteria for charitable purposes. These organisations are not eligible for the discount.

NFP

If your organisation is a not-for-profit but does not have ONLUS status, it does not qualify as a charity under Italian law. This category includes various non-profit entities that do not meet the specific criteria required to be recognised as an ONLUS. These organisations are not eligible for the discount.
